Old K's reunion questionnaire summary

A questionnaire was given to all Old Ks at Oxford to gather ideas for future reunions, this is a summary of the responses. Thanks for letting us have your views - every Old K completed a questionnaire.

Summary of the main points:

          1. Everyone wants another reunion.
          2. The format should be 2 nights stay (Friday and Saturday),
            but with the option of staying just for one of the nights.
          3. The preference for the main event being on Saturday evening was almost 100%.
          4. The majority would prefer the venue to be in a city.
          5. Time of year - Spring, with May the most popular month.
          6. A wide variety of locations were suggested,
            but there was a preference for the event to be held in the North.
          7. Comments:

            (i) The organisers need to know the names of those coming to a reunion,
            and to publish this information on the website.
            Attendance should be encouraged by personal contact (phone calls and emails?).

            (ii) More communication with Old K's group (i.e. between reunions).

            (iii) A formal contribution by Old K's to cover costs of reunion organisation
            (and website when existing pot of money runs out?).
            We discussed the pros and cons of this briefly at the Oxford weekend.
